Welcome to Maplewood Elementary.
We are excited for another year in which to work with you in helping your child manage his/her behavior. The student management office, teachers along with your help will teach your child the proper behaviors that are necessary for the student to have success.
Maplewood expectations are for students to respect the adults on campus and fellow students. They are to arrive at school on time so that they may fully experience a day of learning. Parents we need your help in this matter. Our goal is to work side by side in helping them follow the school’s expectations in and out of the classrooms.
As student management supervisor it is my goal to help your child correct inappropriate behaviors, while learning how to make good choices in school. I would love to celebrate this goal with your child. If a problem is occurring in the classroom please give the teacher the opportunity to address the situation first. If need be, after discussion with his/her teacher, please do not hesitate in contacting me as soon as possible.
Please sit down with your child and go over our school expectations and the procedures for school disciplinary measures as outlined in the Marion County 2017-2018 Code of Student Conduct. By setting limits students are able to make good choices. We are here to help them become successful not only in academic are but learn how to make correct behavior decisions at the school.
Students who are attending Maplewood on an out of area request may lose their attendance privilege if school and district rules are not followed.

Queridos Padres,
Bienvenidos a la escuela elemental de Mapewood. Estamos gozosos por otro año en el que podemos trabajar con usted para ayudar a su hijo / hija a controlar su comportamiento. La oficina de administración de alumnos, los maestros en conjunto con su ayuda enseñaremos a su hijo/hija el buen comportamiento que es necesarios para que el estudiante tenga éxito.
Las expectativas de Maplewood para los estudiantes es que muestren respecto a los adultos en le escuela y los sus compañeros. Es importante que lleguen a tiempo a la escuela para que puedan disfrutar plenamente de un día de aprendizaje. Padres necesitamos su ayuda en este asunto. Nuestro objetivo es trabajar de lado a lado para ayudarles a seguir las expectativas de la escuela dentro y fuera de las aulas de clase.
Como supervisor de gestión estudiantil es mi meta de ayudar a su estudiante a corregir las conductas inapropiadas, y que ellos aprendan cómo hacer una buena decisiones en la escuela. Me encantaría celebrar este objetivo con sus hijos. Si hay algún problema en el aula favor de dar al maestro la oportunidad de investigar y corregir la situación primeramente. Habrá traductores si necesitan. Si es necesario, después de una discusión con el maestro, si desean luego ponerse en contacto conmigo, estoy a si disposición. Favor de notificarnos tan pronto como sea posible antes de que se agrave la situación y su hijo se encuentre en problemas.
Por favor siéntese con su hijo/a y estudien las expectativas de nuestra escuela, y los procedimientos de medidas disciplinarias del Código de Conducta del Estudiante del Condado de Marion 2017-2018. Si estableciendo límites y normas a los estudiantes ellos serán capaces de tomar buenas decisiones. Estamos aquí para ayudar a los estudiantes a tener éxito académico y tomar decisiones apropiadas de comportamiento en la escuela.
Los estudiantes que recibido un permiso de fuera del área para asistir a nuestra escuela, pueden perder sus privilegios si la escuela y el distrito escolar no se siguen las reglas.
